About

I was born and raised in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Currently, I am working as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UW-L), La Crosse, WI. I have earned both my Ph.D. and master’s degrees in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND in 2016 and 2021, respectively. My research contribution has been primarily focused on versatile topics such as, but not limited to, Transformation optics/electromagnetics (TO/TE) and its applications in designing complex media and arbitrary geometry conformal antennas and optical devices, Electromagnetic Cloaking and Metamaterials, RF Integrated Circuits and Devices, Additive manufacturing of RF Circuits and antennas Electronically tunable materials using conductive particles, 3D-printed antennas and RF circuits for conformal arrays, 3D-printed Flexible and Wearable Electronics, Beam-steering circuits and systems, and Radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) for phased array antennas. So far, I have published 32 peer reviewed articles, including 10 journals and 22 peer-reviewed conferences. As a recognition of my excellent research efforts, recently, I was awarded NDSU Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship for the academic year: 2020-2021. Constant research collaborations with scholars from research groups from other universities and constant sharing research ideas and collaborations with U.S. Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) scientists also enhance my teamwork skills and helped me to learn how to achieve efficient cooperation. My researches funded by AFRL, NASA EPSCoR, NextFlex/Uniqarta Inc., etc. Constant research collaborations with scholars from research groups from other universities and constant sharing research ideas and collaborations with U.S. Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) scientists also enhance my teamwork skills and helped me to learn how to achieve efficient cooperation. Additionally, I am a reviewer for the IEEE Access Journal, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, MDPI Electronics, Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, The Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES) Journal, the IEEE RAPID conference, and the IEEE-EIT conference. I was also a session co-chair at 2021 International IEEE RAPID conference.
